Compact and Large Capacity Identification Device for Uniquely Addressing Optical Components

Abstract

We describe a new optical identification device consisting of a superimposed FBG with sixteen different Bragg wavelengths. We demonstrate the remote reading of optical identification devices installed at different positions on the same optical path.
