Fabrication of Microfiber-Based Bragg Gratings with Ultraviolet-Light Exposure

Abstract

We fabricated microfiber-based Bragg gratings with ultraviolet-light exposure. Bragg reflections are observed for gratings with diameters of several micron-meters. The dependence of Bragg grating characteristics on the microfiber diameter is investigated.
