Design of a High Speed Nanophotonic Architecture for Cache Coherent Multicores

Abstract

We propose a high speed nanophotonic network for future cache coherent multicores called CC-NPA. Our results indicate that CC-NPA increases performance by 25% when compared to an electrical bus networks.
