Parametric Amplification of 28-GBd NRZ-16QAM Signals

Abstract

We show experimentally parametric amplification of 28-GBd NRZ-16QAM signals with 11 dB polarization-dependent on-off gain and negligible OSNR penalty by using a high-power, low-noise DFB pump laser.
