Novel Thermal Drift Suppression Method in Channel Switching of Mode-hop-free Tunable Laser Array

Abstract

A switching time of less than 40 μs has been achieved for a TDA-DFB laser array with a thermal drift suppression technique using the tuning regions of non-lasing lasers as heaters for temperature compensation.
