A Self Wavelength Tracking Method for a Cost Effective WDM-PON with Tunable Lasers

Abstract

We demonstrate a self wavelength tracking method for tunable lasers in a WDM-PON. By measuring the back-scattered power by a feeder fiber, we identified and tracked the allocated wavelength of the tunable laser.
