Semi-blind Nonlinear Equalization in Coherent Multi-Span Transmission System with Inhomogeneous Span Parameters

Abstract

Semi-blind sequence is proposed for optimizing the nonlinear equalization parameters from limited prior knowledge of link. Its performance is demonstrated in an extreme case where the fiber type of a span is incorrectly informed.
