Photonic Crystal Slow Light Devices Tunable Delay, Nonlinearity, Dynamic Tuning

Abstract

Recent progress on photonic crystal slow light devices is presented. A 100 ps class tunability, 1 THz bandwidth, ps order response, enhanced nonlinearities with chalcogenide material, and dynamic tuning for stopped light generation are demonstrated.
