Four-Wave Mixing in Highly Ge-Doped Nonlinear Fiber

Abstract

We demonstrate and study four-wave mixing in an 11-m highly Ge-doped nonlinear-fiber (HDF) for the first time. The HDF is highly compatible with standard single mode fiber that allows a homogeneous platform for signal processing.
