Method for Measuring Conversion Gain Response and O/E Bandwidth of Integrated D(Q)PSK Receivers

Abstract

A method for recovering the O/E frequency response of D(Q)PSK receivers with integrated delay-line interferometers (DLIs) is presented. Modulator chirp is canceled by measuring at specific DLI phases, making the approach robust and versatile.
