40 Gb/s DPSK Receiver Module with Integrated Free-Space Delay-Line-Interferometer

Abstract

We present a 40Gb/s DPSK receiver module with athermal free-space DLI. It has a FSR of 43GHz, PDFS of 350MHz and a differential output voltage-swing of 550mVpp. 43Gb/s NRZ-DPSK back-to-back sensitivity was −4dBm (PRBS 231−1).
