Abstract

Very low-pedestal, 310-fs FWHM pulses at 10-GHz repetition rate are obtained by nonlinear fiber propagation of parabolic-like pulses synthesized by linear re-shaping of 1.5-ps soliton-like pulses with an energetic efficiency reaching 70%.
