Using a digital coherent receiver, we demodulate a 640-Gbit/s QPSK signal polarization-multiplexed and 16-fold time-division-multiplexed. In this receiver, an LO pulsed at the 10-GHz base-clock frequency demultiplexes the 160-Gsymbol/s QPSK signal into 10-Gsymbol/s tributaries.
