Abstract

We demonstrate a high-performance waveform shaper based on a 64-channel, 10-GHz silica arrayed-waveguide grating with loop-back channels and integrated amplitude and phase modulators. The design allows wavelength-matched demultiplexing and multiplexing in the compact waveform shaper.
