Multi-user UWB-over-Fiber System based on High-chip-count Phase Coding

Abstract

High-chip-count, phase-coded direct-sequence Ultra Wideband (UWB) signals for multiple access communications are generated in the optical domain, based on which a multi-user UWB-over-fiber system is proposed. A dual-user system is experimentally demonstrated.
