Abstract

We experimentally show the first demonstration of a novel optical-wireless network by using WSS-based ROADMs in advanced DWDM metro networks. 8×2.5-Gb/s wireless signals are successfully transmitted over 160-km fiber with <1.5-dB penalty in 12-cascaded WSSs networks.
