Real-time group delay ripple (GDR) measurement for chirped fiber Bragg gratings

Abstract

We demonstrate monitoring of the group delay ripple of a 10m-long linearly chirped fiber Bragg grating with a dispersion of ~2000-ps/nm over a 8-nm bandwidth with an unprecedented update rate of ~5 frames/sec.
