Abstract

We have demonstrated record spectral efficiency (0.87 b/s/Hz, properly accounting for FEC overhead) for a spectral phase-encoded coherent OCDM system using DQPSK modulation and FEC for 8-channels x 10 Gb/s within an 80 GHz window.
