Suppression of WDM Signal Crosstalk in Fiber Optical Parametric Amplifier by using RZ-DPSK Modulation Format

Abstract

We demonstrated crosstalk-free WDM signal amplification by single-pump fiber OPA with RZ-DPSK modulation format. The power penalty of OPA amplified 10Gb/s WDM RZ-DPSK signal was reduced by more than 2dB as compared with OOK counterpart.
