Flexibility in Access Networks : a Novel WDMA/TDMA Scheme for Passive Optical Networks

Abstract

We propose a new access network scheme introducing WDM based flexibility, with dynamic rearrangement of customer connections. We focus on physical layer issues, simulation and experimental results are provided for a network without optical amplification.
