Loop-back AWG Router with Non-uniform Transmission Capacity

Abstract

We developed an AWG-based wavelength router with a loop-back structure for a system with non-uniformly distributed traffic. We describe the design of the loop-back waveguides and the transmission characteristics of the developed device.
