Abstract

An all-optical ultra-fast 2×2 spatial switch based on polarization rotation induced by Cross-Phase-Modulation in highly non-linear fiber is presented. Bit-Error-Rate measurements confirm the effectiveness of the proposed scheme and its suitability in cascaded configurations.
