Compact 1.31&1.49/1.55 μ m WDM using fiber type lens

Abstract

By using fiber collimator with Graded Index fiber type lens and applying the simple fabrication process, the compact 1.31&1.49/1.55 μ m WDM have been achieved. This WDM exhibits low insertion loss, high isolation and high reliability.
