Abstract
We proposed and fabricated a novel optical switching device using a Si-waveguide asymmetric Mach-Zehnder interferometer with a ferro-electric liquid crystal cladding. We demonstrated the wavelength switching operation with the experimental device fabricated at 1550nm wavelength.
