Multimode Fiber enabling 40 Gbit/s multi-mode Transmission over Distances > 400 m

Abstract

We have optimized multimode fiber performance at 1300 nm to a level that enables 40-Gbit/s serial transmission in the multimode regime well over 400 m in a 40 nm wavelength window with high launching tolerance.
