Abstract
Suppression of stimulated-Raman-Scattering in a 100 ps, 32 MHz pulsed fiber source is demonstrated. 12.5 kW of peak power was achieved in a small core single-mode ytterbium-doped fiber amplifier where the stimulated-Raman-scattering was efficiently filtered out by a W-type waveguide structure.
