Abstract

We demonstrate a novel passive mode-locking enhanced by the interaction of Carbonnanotubes with the evanescent-field of propagating beam in a D-shaped fiber. The scheme featuring long lateral interaction guarantees strong nonlinear effect from the nanotubes.
