Abstract

The magnitude and direction of the Polarization Mode Dispersion vector of a WDM channel is significantly affected by nonlinear polarization crosstalk from neighbouring channels within the PMD correlation bandwidth. Such non-linear interactions may further significantly impair dynamic networks.
