Abstract

We investigate experimentally the cross-phase modulation efficiencies of monolithic tunable all-optical wavelength converters in both offset quantum-well and centered quantum-well intermixed InP integration platforms. CQW exhibit 60% higher efficiency with full 180 degree phase change possible.
