Abstract

We report all-optical multi-channel signal up-conversion using difference frequency generation in a quasi-phase-matched LiNbO3 waveguide device. Link performance for 20-GHz optical microwave system was examined with three 1-Gbit/s data streams and error-free transmission was achieved.
