Abstract

Transmission technologies for seamless, ultra-wide-band, high-capacity WDM transmission systems are discussed, and the demonstration of 200-nm bandwidth transmission using a distributed Raman amplifier with pump-and-signal wavelength-interleaving allocation is described.
