Novel Design Method for Generalized Lattice Filters

Abstract

A new design method for wide-band gain equaliz-ers using cascaded MZI’s is proposed. The method achieves a given accuracy with fewer stages than previously described methods. Furthermore, the method is capable of minimizing PDL.
