Abstract
Recently mass capacity and high speed of telecommunication fiber amplifiers are proceeding and the power of laser output is also becoming higher.1,2 Consequently passive components are required for the stability of high input power. In the case of optical attenuators utilizing attenation fibers, in order to reduce the input power, the energy of the optical signal is converted to heat.
