2x40-channel dispersion-slope compensator for 40-Gbit/s WDM transmission systems covering entire C- and L-bands

Abstract

We demonstrate a 2x40-channel dispersion-slope compensator that employed an arrayed-waveguide grating (AWG) and a spatial filter. It can compensate for the dispersion slope of the entire bandwidth of C- and L-bands simultaneously.
