Abstract

New type of Reverse Dispersion Fiber (RDF-60) has been developed successfully. Totally flat line in a wide band could be obtained by connecting RDF-60 with SMF. RDF-60 had large dispersion as–60ps/nm/km and Aeff as large as conventional RDF, so low non-linearity could be realized.
