We report the first 160 Gbit/s RZ transmission experiment over field-installed standard fiber G.652 with optical 160 Gbit/s to 40 Gbit/s demultiplexing (OTDM) and subsequent electrical signal processing (ETDM) and we compare these results with 160 Gbit/s to 10 Gbit/s OTDM demultiplexing experiments.
