Accelerated Aging and Reliability Studies of Multi-Section Tunable GCSR Lasers for Dense WDM Applications

Abstract

We report on the results of an accelerated aging study of tunable GCSR lasers. Frequency, power and SMSR stability as a function of operation time at elevated temperatures were studied. The effective lifetime of device operation is estimated.
