Abstract

Partly in-phase gain-coupled strained-layer (SL) multiple quantum well (MQW) distributed feedback (DFB) lasers (GC DFB) have been shown to exhibit high dynamic single-mode yield, high side-mode-suppression-ratio (SMSR) and high modulation bandwidth.1
