Abstract

Ti:LiNbO3 electro-optic modulators are certain to be key components in future optical communication systems operating at several tens of gigahertz.1-3 Operating the modulator at such high frequencies requires a lower conductor loss of the electrode under the conditions of velocity matching and impedance matching.
