Abstract

A laser oscillation of a Nd3+-doped-fiber laser around 0.9 μm has been reported in the form of a mirror resonator.1 We report the construction of a ring resonator using a Nd3+-doped fiber as a laser medium and demonstrate a laser oscillation at 0.925 µm by adjusting the fiber length and suppressing a laser oscillation around 1.1 µm.
