Abstract

The subcarrier-multiplexed (SCM) broadband service network (BSN) has been proposed as a means for providing voice, data, and switched entertainment video services to residential subscribers.^1,2 This paper will review the BSN concept and will present experimental results on the performance of the SCM-BSN transmission system.
