Abstract

The subcarrier-multiplexed (SCM) broadband service network (BSN) has been proposed as a means for providing voice, data, and switched entertainment video services to residential subscribers.1,2 This paper will review the BSN concept and will present experimental results on the performance of the SCM-BSN transmission system.
