Abstract

A novel absolute-optical-frequency-settable LD module using a Z-cut quartz reference etalon is demonstrated to show a high temperature stability of 5 MHz/deg. The frequency precisions in the 0-50°C temperature and maximum capture ranges were ±400 MHz and 5 A, respectively.
