Stimax: an efficient stable configuration for wavelength demultiplexing with a monomode transmission line

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

A Stimax device consists of a plane diffraction grating in a true on-axis Littrow configuration. The grating is cemented to the rear face of a solid block of silica or glass cut to an appropriate angle, the other end of which is polished spherical (or parabolic) and mirror-coated.
