Simulation on direct sampling of wideband millimeter-wave signals using optoelectronic switch

Abstract

A direct sampling of wideband millimeter-wave signals scheme using an optoelectronic switch is reported. The influence of the microwave insertion loss of the optoelectronic switch on the Effective Number of Bits (ENOB) was studied.
