Abstract

We propose and experimentally demonstrate all-optical canonical logic units (CLUs) at 40 Gb/s using bidirectional FWM in a single highly nonlinear fiber (HNLF). The XOR, XNOR and maxterms are further demonstrated based on these minterms.
