Abstract

An electro-optical tunable arrayed waveguide grating (AWG) based on liquid crystal (LC) clad waveguide is proposed, simulated and analyzed. In simulation results, a central wavelength shift of 19.3 nm is demonstrated in a 1×8 LC-AWG.
