Self-reconstructing nonlinear effects in polymer fibers

Abstract

New all-optical poling (AOP) experiments conducted in multi-core dye-doped poly(methyl methacrylate) optical fibers show that self-sustained and faster rise time second harmonic generation is possible in polymers.
