Development of Ultra-Compact 8×8 Waveband Cross-connect

Abstract

We develop an ultra-compact 8×8 waveband cross-connect prototype which consists of eight optical couplers and eight 1×8 waveband selective switch modules that are monolithically integrated onto PLC chips. Experiments verify its transmission performance.
