Improved Performance of 64/128-QAM Universal Filtered Multi-carrier PON

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrated an intensity-modulation direct-detection UFMC transmission system over 30-km standard single mode fiber. The BER performance of 64-QAM and 128-QAM UFMC signals are measured and compared with that of the OFDM signals.
