Piecewise Temperature Sensing with Fiber Bragg Grating Inscribed Erbium-doped Fiber

Abstract

We report a sensing scheme using the fiber Bragg grating (FBG) inscribed erbium-doped fiber (EDF), which is capable of piecewise temperature sensing with two directions of characteristic parameters and high linearity.
